What BeaconICT is
BeaconICT is a case routing and coordination platform that helps connect people experiencing homelessness or housing instability with shelter, transition programs, and support services in Wichita, Kansas. It is currently a prototype built for the Wichita 2026 AI Prompt Championship and is operated by the BeaconICT team.
Permitted use
BeaconICT is intended for:
- People seeking shelter, housing, or support services in the Wichita area
- Navigation Partners — staff at participating organizations — managing referrals and case coordination
- Competition judges and evaluators reviewing the prototype
You may not use BeaconICT to submit false or fabricated intake information, to interfere with other users' cases, to attempt unauthorized access to case data, or for any purpose other than legitimate service coordination.
Navigation Partner accounts
Navigation Partner accounts are issued to staff at participating organizations. Account holders are responsible for keeping their passkey credentials secure and for all actions taken under their account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Case data and handoffs
When you submit intake, a case record is created in BeaconICT. Navigation Partners may view and act on your case as part of the coordination process. By submitting intake, you consent to your case being visible to Navigation Partners in the network for the purpose of connecting you with services.
No guarantee of services
BeaconICT routes cases to providers based on real-time availability and profile matching, but it does not guarantee placement, bed availability, or program eligibility. Provider availability can change at any time. The platform provides recommendations — a Navigation Partner or the person seeking services must follow through to confirm placement.
Prototype disclaimer
BeaconICT is provided as-is as a competition prototype. We make no warranties about uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose. Case data may be deleted at the end of the competition period. Do not rely on BeaconICT as the sole record of a case or placement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
